a City shopping day both Truro and Plymouth are both less than 1
hours journey.
We are conveniently located only five mins from Bodmin Moor and
less than 30 minutes from The Eden Project. The historic fishing
ports of Polperro and Looe are also only 20 minutes away. Looe has
all traditional seaside facilities including a sandy beach.
Woodpeckers is close to Siblyback Lake (3 miles away), a fantastic day trip for all watersports including fishing, skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, walking, Rilla Mill has dozens of fantastic walks (we have Linkinhorne Parish Walks Booklets for your use). See Callingtons 17 Murals, or enjoy Kit Hill (formaly owned by The Duchy Of Cornwall). Kit Hill offers stunning views and great walks.
Woodpeckers is close to Yarg Cheese Farm (500yrds away) where the famous Cornish Cheese is made and another cheese farm at Upton Cross (1 mile away) has recently won an award for its Blue Cheese.
We also have Sterts Open Air Theatre 1 mile away which features great acts all year round.

Lanhydrock is situated less than 15 miles away at bodmin while is
about 8 miles away in Callington direction.
